Job description
Have you always wanted to be on the front line? Do you enjoy digging deeper and getting to the bottom of every case? Then read on!
- Identify suspicious transactions every day to stay one step ahead of criminals and fraudsters.
- Prevent fraud and spot emerging fraud trends by closely monitoring and analysing transactions.
- As an investigator, take ownership of cases from the initial fraud report through to closure.
- Respond quickly to make a real difference in preventing financial losses for clients.
- Excel as a fraud analyst and become part of a team of experts.
You’ll also familiarise yourself with Secutec’s security policies, follow them carefully and take any necessary action. This includes participating in training, security awareness campaigns and other security-related learning activities.
We use internal software to monitor payment transactions for a range of clients. When specific indicators flag a suspicious transfer, you’ll contact the client to confirm whether they initiated the transaction themselves.
If a transfer turns out to be fraudulent, you’ll take immediate action to ensure the payment is stopped, the relevant accounts are blocked and the required administrative steps are completed.
You’ll also be part of a wider support team that handles daily enquiries about suspected bank fraud and phishing, supporting both clients and colleagues. Together, you’ll form a team of fraud specialists!
